From idea to trophy in hand

The process from idea to finished trophy is pretty straight forward and simple. To illustrate below is the real world example of a series of trophies and medals Steel Images Inc produced for a customer for a gymnastics invitational.

Communication

The first step talk with the customer about event. Getting an idea of what the customer is looking for. What their needs are for the show and the scale of products to be produced. Critical step, nothing is more important then listening to the needs of the customer. And Giving them all the information about us and our products, so that all the future steps are made with confidence.

Initial design idea.

Sometimes, As in this case the customer has a logo they would like incorporated into the final products. We were given the design and set off to create a series based on the logo and incorporated into finished products. Other times some of our existing designs our used in whole or modified to fit the needs when no pre-existing logo or concept exists. And if no existing designs fill the need Whole new original designs can be created from scratch to perfectly fit the awards.

First round of designs are created.

The number and type are based on the discussions from the previous step. The customer receives them, looks them over. Making sure the vision for their custom awards is being met. If any revisions or modifications are desired, we take note and get busy making the changes.

Sign off on designs

Only after the customer is completely happy with the designs do they sign off on them. Insuring nothing is produced they wouldn't be happy with.

 

Manufacturing

The final designs are then drafted and programmed for our manufacturing process and the Production begins.

Final Product

And you end up with the final products to be boxed and shipped to the customer.
